ACCEPTED

Reading the letter....
(I think you can tell what the outcome was by my face!)
Do you see those words at the top?
"Dear Whitney,
Congratulations on YOUR ACCEPTANCE into the
BACHELOR OF SCIENCE in ELEMENTARY EDUCATION PROGRAM
at DIXIE STATE COLLEGE of UTAH."
That's right folks- I'm gonna be a teacher!
Can I just tell you how relieved I am to finally know?!
I've been waiting on pins for the past month, just dying to know what is next.
Now I know, and I can hardly believe it!
All the hours of homework,
Tears of frustration,
Prayers,
Fasting,
Faith,
Has all come down to this.
Thank you Dixie for accepting me,
Thank you mom for being my inspiration and mentor,
Thank you dad for the blessings you gave me when I needed them,
Thank you sisters for loving and believing in me,
Thank you friends and family for encouraging me,
And thank you Heavenly Father for being there every step of the way.
I couldn't have done it without any of you.
I am so excited for this opportunity.
2 more years is all I have.
Then I will be a legit professional educator-
(atleast that is the expected outcome.)
2 YEARS! WOOO HOOO!!

Somehow I know it'll all turn out...

How do I know this?
A little thing called faith.
Sometimes it is hard to have faith,
And I feel weak and hopeless.
This is not how I should feel...ever.
Because there is a plan for me.
There is a plan for all of us, in fact.
And I have a Father to turn to,
All of us can turn to Him.
We just need to have faith,
(atleast the size of a seed)
Then act on that faith,
(because faith without works is dead)
And wa-lah! Things work out.
Sometimes things don't turn out how we expect,
Or when and where we expect,
But we are never left with nothing.
We will never be left wondering.
There is always an answer,
Whether it is the one we want or not.
We are loved by our Father-
We always and forever will be.
And that is how I know it'll all turn out.

And They Called It Puppy Love...

Inroducing: Bella
Newest 4-legged Schimbeck family addition.
8 weeks old, yellow lab, green eyes.
She is the sweetest valentine anyone could have.
She loves to snuggle, give kisses, and be sung to all day.
She is very attentive, loving, and soo cuddly.
Who wouldn't want her as a valentine?!
Love you Bella-girl!
Kisses, Whit
P.S. Pepper is being a total DIVA, but we love her just the same. :)

Oh, for the love...

I just want to know already! GRR! It has been two weeks since I interviewed and my acceptance/decline letter should be here by now! (I applied to the Elem. Ed. program here at dear ol' Dixie, for those of you who are wondering what I am rambling about.) Patience is not my forte lately...although it is apparently something I am to learn because I am waiting for many things currently. Well, I suppose I am done venting now.

On another note- have any of you seen Dear John? So good, I very much enjoyed it.
1. It was based on a Nicolas Sparks novel (who doesn't love those?)
2. The girl wants to work with Special Ed. students- (me too! well possibly...)
3. CHANNING TATUM is dang fine...2 hours of eye candy I tell you.
4. I bawled through it not once, but twice.
5. I can relate all to well (you know, with the waiting and all?)
So there you have it. Now I'll just go sit and wait, wait, wait, wait, wait..........ugh.

"will I wait for you...will I wait for you?! Why Wally Kesler, you otta be ashamed of yourself..."
(gotta love a good ol Saturday's Warrior ditty)
