MY SEESTERS

Dear Tay:

I love you. You are such an amazing, beautiful little sister, and I can't believe how grown up you are getting. Thank you for being a good example to Abby and me all the time. I love that you are not afraid to be yourself and that you stand up for what you believe in always. I admire your creativity and style. It has been so fun becoming closer as we get older, I can't wait to be little old ladies together. I appreciate your sensibility and sensitivity, and your funny little quips that keep us all giggling. Your smile is the best :) I love you little sister.

Dear Abby:

I love you. You have inspired me in ways you may not yet understand. I admire your determination to try new things and succeed at them. I can't believe you are almost 12, I sometimes feel like you are still this fragile little baby in an incubator. I appreciate your humor and charm. I admire how organized and strong-willed you are. I wish I had your gorgeous curls. You are a beautiful girl, inside and out. I love that we have matching eyes :) I love you baby sister.

Tidbits from the MD.

"That skeleton is kinda cute, look at the vertabrae."

Only would I hear this from a doctor...who else compliments a skeleton? And a plastic one at that? I'm just saying...this comment made me giggle at work one day. I'm still giggling about it in fact...which is why I had to share.

MD has many stories, I only hope to one day be able to tell stories as well and as humorous as he. I'll work on that skill....Oh how I love my job :)

Hippos and Ruffle Bums

I miss these simple days being little. When life gets a little hectic, I just wish I could go back to these days...I think it was the hippopotamus pants that made life great, or perhaps the oh so dainty ruffle bum panties my mother dressed me in when wearing that purple pansie dress...or maybe it was simply the comfort of my "wubba" (aka blanket) on a not so fabulous day. Or possibly...it was just having a pal around to give hugs and to giggle with. I think it may have been the last one. I love laughing after a stressful day...nothing is better than some good laughs with an amazing friend to get rid of a slump. :) So here is to hoping you've all had a wonderful day!

PS- Aren't hippo pants and ruffley panties funny? What ever made them in style is what I'd like to know...:)

FOR-US-TO-SHUN= frustration.

So I've mentioned my tech class...let me say it has not become easier after one week of giving it a try. In fact, it is really QUITE difficult. My instructor is darling and does all she can to help us. We do one day of class a week inside a online classroom called Wimba....WIMMMMBOOOO is all I have to say about that one. I've become very frustrated trying to complete assignments, but I know eventually it will hopefully click in my seemingly pea-sized brain. We'll see how it goes. As for life outside of this futuristic class, LIFE IS GOOD! :)

A frazzled intro.

So this is my big blogging debut.
I have spent the last two hours trying to figure one too many computer applications for my new Education Technology class...let's just say my brain is fried, or close to it anyway. I have intended on creating a blog for sometime now, afterall it is the new fad right? And I admit, I am a bit a "blog stalker." I love viewing friends and family's blogs. Since I was given the assignment to create one, here I am. And now they can all stalk me. Or not, whichever. As long as there aren't creepers peepin' in! :) Anywho, I hope to improve my "techy" abilities, and make this blog creative and fun eventually. Enjoy!
